Absolutely love their biryanis! Piping hot, fresh and tasty all the time. Same taste as the original one from Montreal. The owner was very friendly and polite. The seating is limited however we always got space when we dined in. Affordable prices and reasonable portions as well. They have special student discount also at certain times

I am a student and they have this wonderful student deal for chicken biryani. It’s what brought me to this restaurant. I have been getting it for over a year now and the quality has not changed. The chicken biryani was hands down the best Biryani I have ever had in my life!!! So flavourful with the right balance of spices and spiciness. The staff are incredibly kind. Overall, I enjoyed the experience so much I had to tell my fellow friends who are trying to have a hearty meal on a budget. Despite being located in downtown Ottawa where more prices for food is heavily inflated, even at regular price I would say their Biryani is totally worth it! Thank you Student Tasty Biryani Staff!

Absolutely loved the experience at Student Biryani Ottawa! The biryani was flavorful, aromatic, and perfectly cooked – easily one of the best I’ve had in the city. What made the visit even better was the outstanding service provided by Rahul. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. It’s rare to find such great food and excellent customer service in one place.

I dropped by on a whim and found the achari chicken biryani to be absolutely delicious. They provide very generous portions and it’s flavoured very well too. The butter chicken was a little on the sweeter side. Otherwise the food was delicious and the portions are huge for what you get. Would definitely order again!

If you are missing and craving those authentic Asian spices, this is the place to be. I have been a regular for their delicious chicken biryani, but last night I tried the Chicken Nehari, and it was a game-changer—rich, flavorful, spicy and perfectly cooked. The vibrant flavor and great service make every visit an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

Student tasty biryani never fails to delight me. Never. On my most sickest days I order food from here and not once have I been disappointed. It is the freshest and I love their biryanis. Had Chicken Korma which came with rice. And I had it with their Naan too. Everything was very delicious. Great service with affordable pricing. Definitely recommend!
